Cub Scout Pack 545 is part of the Dogwood District in Surry County and chartered to the Old Hickory Council.

The Pack meets on Monday nights at 7:00pm at the First United Methodist Church from September through May. The Pack is open to any boy in the 1st through 5th grade. Weekly meetings include activities to learn a variety of physical, mental, and outdoor skills as well as how to be a good citizen. The Pack is active in camping, hiking, conservation and community service. Each year the Pack participates in “Scouting for Food” collecting food for local food pantries, Pinewood Derby, Scout Sunday in area churches, as well as Parent/Son Fall Camporee & Summer Residence Camp at Raven Knob Scout Reservation.
